Monday Movie Night

The options are open with two free outdoor movies this Monday night. The 1946 rendition of The Killers will begin at sunset in Manhattan’s Bryant Park, but arrive as early as 5 pm to secure a perfect view of the screen for when the projectors start to roll. Although no chairs are permitted on the lawn, viewers who arrive early enough may bring chairs for the brick area directly in front of the screen. Weekend at Bernie’s will screen at Huckleberry Bar in Brooklyn beginning at 9 pm, but it is also recommended to arrive early for a good seat. Along with the movie, free popcorn will be available and two-for-one drinks all night long.

Imagine Dragons

One of their most famous songs, “Radioactive,” has been played over 350 million times on Spotify, holding the title for fifth most played song on the music streaming platform. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Imagine Dragons will be live in concert at the Barclays Center in Downtown Brooklyn on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 7:30 pm. No dragons will be harmed in the production of this event.

Billy Joel

Currently in the news for a baby due with his girlfriend Alexis Roderick, the 66-year-old soft rock artist Billy Joel will be live at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 8 pm. This will be his 65th concert at Madison Square Garden, breaking the record for most performances by anyone at MSG.
